I went to church this morning and our pastor preached on "Faith."
We've all heard the biblical phrase 'if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can move mountains.' Have you tested this theory? If your answer is "no," I believe you're wrong. We have all tested faith. Before I begin with my examples on ways we've tested faith, let's define "faith." Faith is that silent belief that when we say something will happen, it will in fact happen. The biblical definition is: "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen." Hebrews 11:1
We have tested faith when we get in our cars and drive to work, knowing we will get to our destination safely. We've tested faith when we've said to ourselves that the person driving on the opposite side of the road will not cross the double lines and hit us head on. We've tested faith that when asked a question, an answer will come forth from our mouths. Faith is that silent belief that something we say will happen will in fact happen.
Thus if you're trying to improve your life, trust in yourself and have the same faith mentioned above. Believe that your life has already been improved and you'll be surprised how things will automatically change for the better. Surround yourself with positive people and thoughts and you'll see a change in as soon as a week. You'll notice a change in confidence.
Chances are your salary is about $3 - $5K away from the salaries of our friends. So if you're trying to be rich, meet new friends! I did not say, disassociate yourself from your old friends...notice, I only said "meet new friends." We can all stand to meet new people. I guarantee that those new people will inspire you to do better. They will teach you to think rich. Its all about changing your mindset. Believing and then executing. But before you can begin executing (changing your life), you must BELIEVE that you can and have FAITH that you will.
